After years of opposition to the use of pets in research, with Animal Alliance leading the charge, and now the horrific revelations of research at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Ontario Pemier Doug Ford has introduced an absolute ban on the use of dogs and cats in research in that province. It is an excellent start! Kudos to Animal Justice and to the brave whistleblowers who brought brutal heart attack research on dogs to the fore.
