Breaking news from the Center for Contemporary Sciences! The FDA Modernization Act of 2021 has passed the House of Representatives! This bill was included as a rider to a larger legislation, the Food and Drug Amendments of 2022.

We are now looking to a similar process in the Senate in the upcoming months. The bill will end the outdated mandate that all drugs must be tested on animals and will open the door for innovation and better medicines. The Center for Contemporary Sciences has been hard at work to help pass this bill.
