For High School and Undergraduate Students

Submission:

A research paper identifying existing human-based approaches in medical or other science-based research and explaining where human-based methods may be of equal value or even superior to animal models – all in the name of good science.

Length of Paper: 5,000 words maximum

Language Requested: English

Selection of Winners:

Winners will be chosen after the contest closing date by a committee comprised of a representative from CCS, PNARS and InterNICHE.

Prizes:

Winners will have their paper submitted to the CCS, InterNICHE and PNARS websites for publication with credit given to the author. In addition to the contest submission, we will consider publishing updates and follow up reports if they exist.

Fellowship grants will also be included:

• 1^st Prize: $1,000
• 2nd Prize: $500
• 3rd Prize: $250
