The organization 600 Million Dogs has alerted us to the cruel and needless practice of shooting stray dogs in Bahrain. They have organized a letter writing opportunity that only takes a moment.
Right now, innocent dogs – many of them friendly, trusting animals – are being hunted down, shot and left to die in agony. Some are still wagging their tails as the rifles are raised. Some are nursing mothers, their tiny puppies left to starve after they are killed.
