We are raising funds for 31 ponies that will be going to auction this Friday May 22 and their hauling to BC. We are also looking for homes for them. Due to CoVid the ponies must go. In fact many horse owners are in the same situation and unfortunately rehome due to CoVid as the economy is so unstable with all the job losses and uncertainty of the future. People are struggling to feed their families let alone feed their animals. All the ponies are between 3-10 years of ages, unhandled but curious of people. Ranging in height between 10-12.2hh. They have been well looked after. We as a rescue feel compelled to assist these beautiful little souls. If we can avoid them heading to auction we would be so grateful. God bless and thank you.

From ADAV: Please note that going to auction is a death sentence for most horses. In the best of financial times, over 50% of horses in Ontario that got to auction are purchased by kill buyers – they go to slaughter.
