We are pleased to welcome TAVA’s Ambassador, Ava the bunny, to Vancouver! What is TAVA? It stands for Toronto Anti-Vivisection Alliance. Their Ambassador, Ava, has embarked on a world wide tour of discovery and work to end animal experimentation. We are very pleased that Vancouver is her first stop. Already, she has attended one of our demonstrations against the plan to include animal labs in Vancouver’s new St. Paul’s Hospital and Health Campus. She’s also been supervising signatures on our petition regarding the St. Paul’s plan. Keep an eye out for her at our other events! We thank TAVA for sending her to us, for partnering with us on our parliamentary petition against the requirement that animal models be used for new drug testing in Canada, for their work on starting and coordinating the annual World Protest for Animals in Labs, and more!
Below is a video created by TAVA, introducing the start of her journey!
Ava has just arrived has gotten started in Vancouver already!

Above image: Ava reviews signatures on our petition asking that the new St. Paul’s Hospital and Health Campus NOT include animal labs as planned. Ava is very concerned for people’s privacy so had us white out names and email addresses on the copy used for this image. She is sooo thoughtful!
Keep an eye out for Ava at more ADAV events!
