As the petition we link to with the button below states, animals and birds get injured by fireworks. Not only that, they can be absolutely terrified by them. Animals sometimes get lost running away from fireworks and can’t find their way home afterward. The sound firecrackers make can cause tachycardia in birds and some even die from fright. Fireworks also utilize toxic chemicals and have a negative impact on the environment.
