From Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine:

It’s horrible! Dogs are still being used and killed in painful, scientifically ineffective heart failure and hypertension experiments at Wayne State University.

This has been going on for almost 30 years, and it is absolutely sickening.

PCRM is ready to make 2021 the year we end this, but we need your help! Please sign our petition to end these experiments immediately.

So many innocent dogs have already died, and these experiments are supposed to provide insight into how the human heart works. But what have scientists learned from this? NOTHING.

There have been no medical advancements—only great pain and the deaths of hundreds of dogs!

We need your voice today to demand Wayne State University end these horrifying dog experiments!

Every dog subjected to these heart failure experiments first must undergo surgery—up to four times! Devices are surgically inserted into the heart and around major blood vessels—25% of dogs die at this stage.

The dogs who survive surgery are then forced to run on treadmills repeatedly while heart failure is induced. Each and every dog will die within a few months.

Torturing animals in the name of science is NOT acceptable…and is the definition of animal cruelty! Anne, I know you agree!

Please take action NOW on behalf of the dogs counting on us: Demand Wayne State University release the dogs and end these experiments today!
Thank you so very much.
